八十年代的中国掀起了改革的高潮。这滚滚的热潮奔腾激荡,不可阻挡。改革使古老的中华民族焕发了青春的光彩,使命途多舛的共和国增添了强旺的生命力,取得了举世瞩目的成就。作为一种非常贴近生活的艺术门类,话剧对火热的社会变革并没有无动于衷。剧作家们曾先后创作出了不少反映改革的作品,为改革的时代画像,给观众留下了相当深刻的印象。然而随着改革的深入发展,改革题材的话剧创作却呈“式微”之势,这不能不说是一种令人遗憾的现象。因此,探讨近两年来改革题材话剧创作的得失,交流创作改革题材作品的体会,推动改革题材话剧的创作,自然而然地成了三月十五日至二十日在广州召开的全国话剧改革题材新作研讨会的主旨了。这次由中国戏剧家协会和中国剧协广东分会共同
