连环画曾作为让全民迷恋的读物,后来逐步进入低谷,当然任何事物发展都有一个发展、巅峰到衰落的过程。在传统连环画没落后,形式新颖、内容夸张、题材丰富的漫画才逐步发展起来,虽然漫画在创作手段、表现形式、题材选择、阅读习惯等与传统连环画存在很大差别,但是这两者都是以连续的画面来叙述故事以表现这部作品的内在逻辑,但同属于通俗美术这个基本概念未曾改变,都是以连续性的画面来叙述故事,传达创作者的意图。
