各位委员: 我因出访任务,不能参加今天的“世纪之星”评议会,只好用书面发言向大家陈述我的意见。 我们经过认真比较,反复考虑,推荐青年画家赵奇为美术界“世纪之星”的候选人,请大家根据他的材料进行审议,并希望能得到通过。 赵奇是我国美术界的一颗令人瞩目的新星。他从鲁迅美术学院刚刚毕业,便参加连环画《嘎达梅林》的创作,在全国美展中获奖。1991年由香港永芳集团主办、中国美术家协会协办的黄遵宪纪念专题画展中,他创作的一幅巨型长卷《生民》一举成名,被评为一等奖。在广州召开的近百人的座谈会上,一些著名的史学家、美学家、文学家,包括王朝闻、王琦、李泽厚、华夏、秦牧、关山月、李侃、汤小铭等人,都对
Distinguished Committee Members: Since I can not attend the “Star of the Century” council today because of my mission, I only had to state my opinion in writing. After careful comparison and repeated consideration, we recommend that young artist Zhao Qi be the candidate for the “Star of the Century” in the art world.
