筑炉的关键在于坩埚制造,坩埚质量的好坏直接影响盐炉的寿命。我厂采用耐火砖砌制坩埚,为防止砖砌坩埚漏盐造成电极柄与炉胆的短路,并考虑到坩埚的热膨胀,在砌砖与炉胆间加40～80毫米厚的填料(石英砂加20％水玻璃)然后捣实。具体筑炉要求是: 1.电极、电极柄、坩埚炉胆的形状、尺寸应与耐火砖及填料的厚度相配合,尽量避免砍砖。
