“97梁玉嵘爱心慈善演唱会”演出后各方面人士提出了不少有益、有建设性的意见,梁玉嵘本人和这台节目的编导、伴奏、舞美等有关人士,都表示要“择善而从”,进行必要的修改,提高水准,使之渐臻完善,精益求精……但是,在一个公开场合上,我们又听到对这个演唱会“义愤填膺”的抨击。“粤剧就是粤剧,粤曲就是粤曲,两者不能‘捞过界’!你唱粤曲的,站在那里唱就是了,不必搞那么多‘花款’——又是穿粤剧戏服,又是伴舞伴唱,拉山扎架。结果是非剧非曲,不伦不类。这样搞粤曲演唱会,肯定是要失败的
