中国建筑学会应古巴建筑师协会的邀请,派出了一个由二十九人组成的中国建筑师代表团,万里迢迢地飞越重洋,到屹立在加勒比海的英雄国家——古巴,参加了一九六三年九月二十七日至十月四日接连在哈瓦那举行的国际建筑教授、学生第一次会见大会和国际建协第七届大会。代表团受到了古巴革命政府和古巴建筑师协会的热情接待。大会结束以后,部分团员去墨西哥出席了十月九日至十二日在墨西哥城召开的国际建协第八届代表会议。
At the invitation of the Cuban Architects Association, the Chinese Society of Architects sent a delegation of Chinese architects consisting of 29 people. They flew across the oceans and sailed to the heroic country of the Caribbean, Cuba, to participate in the 196th. From September 27th to October 4th in three years, professors of international architecture and students met for the first time in Havana and the seventh session of the International Association of Architects. The delegation was warmly received by the Cuban Revolutionary Government and the Cuban Architects Association. After the conference ended, some members went to Mexico to attend the eighth session of the International Association of Architects held in Mexico City from October 9th to 12th.
