英语话语标记词广泛运用于各种语言,在人们日常生活中几乎无处不在。它是一种话语层次上的标记,在语篇中起着停顿、过渡等作用,有助于形成语篇的连贯性与条理性,并起到一定的指示与提示作用。连词and作为较具特点的话语标记语,其用法灵活,含义丰富,是英语中较活跃的单词。能够用来连接层次相同、意义相关的成分,能够建构出逻辑关系迥异、结构语义生动的效果。
English discourse markers are widely used in various languages and are almost ubiquitous in people’s daily life.
