The scope and immediate impact of the U.S. newspaper’s distribution are usually limited to certain regions, and with the exception of New York Daily News, there have been no more than one million copies of previously influential newspapers. Magazines are different, in 1955 in the United States there are no fewer than 20 kinds of circulation in more than two million copies of magazines, while the scope of the issue than the broad coverage. There are more recreational and non-newsish newspapers in the U.S. than in any other country, but there are far more such things in the U.S. than in newspapers. Various magazines are full of color pictures, advertising paintings, low-interest novels such as stubborn children, literary values are generally low. The purpose of their publication is not to give the American people a deep understanding of the real life of the United States but to divert their attention from reality.
