Electron microscopy has demonstrated that the mucous membranes of the Eustachian tube and the middle two ears of the middle ear have a functional mucociliary system consisting of ciliated cells and mucocut, with a self-clearing effect. To date, little is known about the cilia activity and nature within the tubotympanum. The author has studied the middle ear 牯 film of infectious pathogens and X-ray irradiation and other risk factors, and put forward these factors affect the eustachian tube tympanic ciliary activity. Since ciliated cells remain active under physiological saline for only a few hours, cilia activity in the past can only be examined within 60 minutes.
