渤海湾的海流状况对研究黄河及其他沿海河流入海后的泥沙运动和塘沽新港洄淤以及渤海水产业都甚为重要。七十年代以来,由于研究海河、蓟运河排出污染物的扩散规律和环境容量的计算,这一问题就显得更加重要了。五十年代以来,我国科学技术工作者在渤海湾就不同课题进行过多次调查,都曾涉及过海流问题。特别是全国海洋综合调查及我所进行的渤海湾调查,也对渤海湾海流进行过相当细致和全面的研究。调查报告中阐述的很多现象和观点,在ERTS图象上得到证实,甚至某些细节在图象上也有反映,但常规的调查方法难以做到大面积的同步观测,所以对渤海湾海流及有关的一些问题,难以作出正确的回答。本文根据地球资源卫星(1—3
The current situation in Bohai Bay is very important for studying the sediment movement after the Yellow River and other coastal rivers have entered the sea and the new harbor in Tanggu and the Bohai Sea fishery.
