西白1号是莱州市作物种苗研究所新育成的极早熟、适于夏季种植的结球大白菜新品种。一、特征特性该品种叶色深绿,叶柄白绿,球叶叠抱,呈卵圆型。株高35cm左右,开展度55cm,净菜率75%,软叶率60%。单株重1～1.2kg,风味品质优良。结球紧实,耐高温、高湿。生长期45天,生长速度快。在山东麦收后(6月20日前后)播种,8月上旬收获,正值蔬菜供应淡季,一般亩产4000kg,亩产值5000元左右,是高产高效农业的优良品种。
