随着改革开放的进一步深入,英语教学越来越受到重视。这无疑对初中英语教学是一个挑战,同时也给提高初中学生的英语听力水平,改变初中学英语“聋哑”现状带来了机遇。广大中学英语教师应该认真研究听力教学的理论和方法,探索符合教学规律的听力教学模式,努力提高听力教学的效果,使听力教学在英语教学中发挥出应有的作用。
With the deepening of reform and opening up, English teaching has drawn more and more attention. This undoubtedly poses a challenge to junior high school English teaching as well as an opportunity to improve junior high school students’ English listening ability and change the status quo of English “deaf-mute” junior high school students. The majority of middle school English teachers should earnestly study the theory and method of listening teaching, explore the listening teaching mode in line with the teaching law, and strive to improve the effectiveness of listening teaching so that listening teaching plays a proper role in English teaching.
