1.思想者原为《地狱之门》组塑的一部分,后翻铸成铜像。《地狱之门》取材于但丁的《神曲》,思想者是罗丹用以象征但丁的形象。
1. The Thinker was originally part of the “Hell’s Gate” altar and was later cast into a bronze statue. “Hell’s Gate” is based on Dante’s “Divine Comedy”, a thinker who Rodin used to symbolize Dante’s image.
