The changes of T lymphocyte subsets in peripheral blood of 40 patients with chronic hepatitis B treated with allogeneic lymphokine-activated killer cells (LAK cells) were observed and compared with the control group and the normal control group. The results showed that the ratio of CD + 3, CD + 4, CD + 8 and CD + 4 / CD + 8 in patients with chronic hepatitis B were significantly lower than that of the normal control group (P <0.05). After treatment with LAK cells, the ratio of CD + 3, CD + 4 and CD + 4 / CD + 8 in the observation group increased compared with that before treatment (P <0.05), which was closer to the normal control group. CD + 8 before and after treatment were lower than the normal control group. The results suggest that LAK cells, due to the increase of CD + 4 cells on the body’s immune regulatory network with the start regulating and promoting effect.
