谢天赐1948年生于广东阳江,优秀人民艺术家,中国美术家协会会员,享受政府特殊津贴画家,广东省人民政府文史研究馆馆员,中央文史研究馆书画院南方分院副院长。作品被北京人民大会堂、国务院、中国艺术研究院等国内外艺术机构及个人收藏。曾随中国艺术代表团赴纽约参加联合国60周年庆典活动,被联合国有关机构授予“和平使者”及“世界华人杰出艺术家”称号。由中央电视台及中央新闻纪录电影制片厂联合拍摄的大型电视专题片《中国当代画家谢天赐》,列入国家档案,作为国家文化工程之一。
Xie Tianci was born in 1948 in Yangjiang, Guangdong. He is a member of Chinese Artists Association, a painter enjoying special government allowances, a librarian of the Cultural and Historical Research Institute of the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government, and a vice president of the Southern Branch of the Central Research Institute of Literature and Art. Works by the Beijing Great Hall of the People, the State Council, the Chinese Academy of Arts and other domestic and foreign art institutions and individuals collection. He was once awarded the title of “Messenger of Peace” and “World Chinese Outstanding Artist” by the relevant UN agencies when he went to New York to attend the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the United Nations with the Chinese art delegation. A large-scale television feature film titled “Chinese Contemporary Painter Xie Tianci” jointly shot by China Central Television and the Central Newsreel and Film Studio was included in the national archives as one of the national cultural projects.
