东西文化的差异,使中美两国对“吃”的东西的概念有所不同,在美国只分两类,即食物和药物,在中国人观念中可分为3类,即食物、中药和西药。在经历了早期的滥用、禁用后,中药在美国发展面临着较大的阻力,主要问题是分类的概念、研究的方法和中美的译差。如何找到西医和中医都能接受认可的双赢办法,让中药理直气壮的治病,更好地服务于世界人民,是值得思考的问题。
The differences between Eastern and Western cultures make the concept of “eating” something different between China and the United States. There are only two categories of food and medicine in the United States, which can be divided into three categories among Chinese people: food, Chinese medicine and Western medicine. After experiencing the early abuse and banning, the development of Chinese medicine in the United States is facing greater resistance. The main problems are the concept of classification, the method of research and the translation between China and the United States. How to find a win-win solution that can both be accepted by both Western medicine and Chinese medicine so that the righteous treatment of Chinese medicine and serve the people of the world better is a matter worth pondering.
