林业生态县,是指通过加强林业生态建设,基本建立起以森林植被为主体的国土生态安全体系,初步建成山川秀美、符合生态文明社会要求的人居生态安全环境,林业生态建设与产业发展相互促进、良性发展的县级行政区域。2006年,河南省提出了“十一五”期间全省1/3的县市区实现创建林业生态县的目标。经过一年辛勤的工作,南召县实现了林业生态县的创建任务。日前,河南省政府授予南召县“全省林业生态县”称号。——题记
