On June 25, 1984, contemporary French thinker Michel Foucault suddenly died. Western scholars believe that this is the most serious loss to the French intellectual community since Sartre’s death. Foucault was born in 1926 in Poitiers, France. After the end of World War II, he was admitted with honors to the Paris High School known as the Holy Land of the Holy Land. He received a degree in philosophy in 1948 and a degree in psychology in 1950. He received a Diploma in Psychopathology.
