Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of diabetes mellitus combined with western medicine in the treatment of Yin Deficiency and Endogenous Diabetes Mellitus, as well as the effects on the glucose control and oxidative stress. Methods: Ninety-eight cases of endogenous heat-induced type 2 diabetes mellitus were enrolled in this hospital. The subjects were divided into observation group (49 cases) and control group (49 cases). The control group was treated with conventional western medicine. The observation group was treated with control group On the basis of combination therapy of diabetes mellitus and No.2 treatment, the clinical curative effect and the changes of blood glucose (fasting blood glucose (FBG), postprandial 2h blood glucose (P2h BG)] and oxidative stress indexes (serum malondialdehyde (MDA) Changes in superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSHPx)]. Results: The total effective rate of observation group was 91.84%, higher than that of the control group (77.55%), the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). After treatment, the levels of FBG, P2h BG and MDA in the observation group were lower than those in the control group and the same group before treatment (P <0.05), while the levels of SOD and GSH-Px in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group and before treatment (P <0.05) . Conclusion: The clinical efficacy of diabetes mellitus combined with western medicine in the treatment of yin deficiency endogenous heat diabetes is significant, which can effectively control blood glucose and improve the indicators of oxidative stress.
