《红与黑》是19世纪法国批判现实主义作家司汤达的代表作。作品以现实案例为素材,通过对作品主人公于连的双重性格、矛盾悲剧人生的描写,来表达作家对当时社会现实的不满与控诉,现实主义色彩浓厚。在作品中,于连及与之有关联的角色都被作者打上了现实主义的烙印,结合作家本身所处时代背景,可以清晰地感受到当时法国资产阶级社会的矛盾与小说描绘的故事情节的重叠。可以说,这部作品不仅是描写于连个人的奋斗经历和爱情故事,更是一部反映当时法国政治社会局面的现实主义特色作品。
“Red and Black” is a masterpiece of 19th-century French critical realist writer Stendhal. By using the real case as a material, the work expresses the writer’s dissatisfaction and complaint about the social reality at that time through the description of the dual personality and the contradictory tragedy life of the protagonist in the works. The realism is full of color. In the works, both the company and its related characters are imprinted with the realism. By combining with the background of the writer’s own time, the contradictions of the French bourgeois society at that time and the storyline of the novel can be clearly seen overlapping.
