目前,正在广泛、深入开展的课堂教学结构改革,在语文、数学教学上研究的比较多,其他课程接触的比较少。所以,有的教师就说:“语、数两科比重大、节数多,容易体现以学生为主体;象地理、历史等课程,一周才两节,象走马灯一样,一走一过,不好体现以学生为主体”。针对这种看法,我们用五年级地理课搞了初步尝试,收到了较好的效果。过去的地理课,由于教师用传统的授课方法,每节课由教者唱“独角戏”,满堂灌。虽然老师讲得口干舌燥,学生并不理解老师的辛苦,往往是在课堂上思想溜号,纪律松散,根本无法调动学生的学习积极性。最近,校内开展了“改革实验课”活动,地理教师受到语文、数学课的启发,他们想:地理课和语文、数学课相比,虽然教学内容不同,但在教法上是可以互相借鉴的,在改革课堂教学结构上也是可以互为参考的。于是,教者把过去课堂上由教师“先讲”变为由学生“先学”。备课时,由于教师认真钻研教材,课堂上首先拿出几个重点思考题,让学生围绕思考题“看书自学”;然后,教
