《中小学教师职业道德规范》明确规定:教师应“热爱学生,诲人不倦。”热爱学生是师德的核心,具体表现在关心学生、尊重和信任学生,平等地对待学生,严格地要求学生等方面。这种热爱带有诚实性,是一种真情的流露;带有期望性,希望所有的学生都能成材;带有理智性,适当地把握行为分寸;带有公平性,正像春风拂过每片绿叶一视同仁。陶行知先生曾经告诫过教师要“爱满天下”,而爱满天下的前提是知道爱、了解爱的真正含义。对爱的诠释可谓是多种多样,爱首先是理解、尊重和信任。浇花要浇根,教人要教心。要培植学生的善心、良心、爱心、同情心、怜悯心。教师要爱生如爱子。要不仅教书,还要教学生做人;要把学生当人看待,而不仅仅是记分薄上的一个
