随着中国对外开放程度的不断深化,新闻发布会上的交替传译作为促进沟通与交流的便利渠道,引起了人们的广泛关注。释意派理论在口译研究领域极富盛名。它提倡在口译过程中不囿于字面束缚,强调理解、脱离语言外壳和重新表达三个环节的有机统一。新闻发布会的政治属性为译者带来巨大的压力,误译现象时有发生,而由此产生的消极后果不容忽视。本文旨在从释意派角度入手,考察新闻发布会的常见误译现象。在释意派理论指导下,本文对新闻发布会误译实例加以分析,探讨其产生原因并参照释意派理论中的三角模式提出了相应的口译策略。
With the continuous deepening of China’s opening to the outside world, alternative interpreting at the press conference as a convenient channel for promoting communication and exchange has aroused widespread concern. Interpretation School is famous in the field of interpretation research. It advocates not only the literal bondage in interpretation but also the organic unity of understanding, separation from the linguistic shell and re-expression. The political nature of the press conference has brought tremendous pressure on the translators, and mistranslation has occurred from time to time. The negative consequences arising therefrom can not be ignored. This article aims to start from the perspective of the school of liberation to examine the common misinterpretation of press conferences. Under the guidance of interpretative theory, this article analyzes the mistranslation examples of news conference, discusses its causes and puts forward corresponding interpreting strategies with reference to trigonometry in the theory of interpretativism.
