In May 1993, the Central Military Commission assigned the functions of the army’s administrative supervision to discipline inspection departments at all levels. In October 2005, the “Provisions on the Supervision of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army” were formally promulgated by the General Political Department. After more than 10 years of exploration and practice, our army’s supervisory work in the new period has effectively promoted the strict control of the military
