辽宁省城乡建设厅于1985年12月23日在鞍山市召开了全省公园建设与管理工作座谈会。与会代表共60余名。这次会议是辽宁省建国以来第一次公园工作会议。会议总结交流了各市近几年来公园建设与管理方面的经验,讨论在新形势下公园建设的指导思想、园林经济体制改革方向、加强思想政治工作、提高公园管理水平和进一步提高公园造园艺术水平等问题。这是一次十分重要的会议,
