这盆命名为《苍虬吸浪》的榆树盆景,是业余从事盆景创作40多年,一直从师孔泰初老师的李伟钊手植。这是一株神形兼备、质朴自然的树桩,粗大的基部,坑槽密布,根强隆凸,如虎爪着地,稳扎泥中,树干横空出世,冲向蓝天,屈曲倒挂,飘出盆外150厘米,昂首齐天,转折回旋,身躯粗壮,线条流畅,不见任何斧凿吊扎加工的痕迹。可见栽培者的耐心与独到功夫。碧翠枝桠数节,一桠小枝驻留在树基部的顶端,有机地与主体结合,填补了空间,抵消了大幅度前倾的不稳定的树势,既取得了平衡,又增加了立体感。余下的枝桠随干分布得宜,各展其长。新叶饱沐阳光,色彩眩目,无论从正面或背面欣赏作品,都展现出一个较完整的迎客面。精巧的设计,既突出了气韵意境,又增添了蓬勃朝气,颇有英姿可畏,刚勇惊人。
