在2009年秋季艺术品拍卖会上,作为现今中国南方规模最大、最具影响力的艺术品拍卖公司,享有“江南第一槌”之美誉的西泠拍卖,以15个专场、92%的成交率、6.12亿元人民币的总成交额大幅提升业绩,并创下多项拍卖记录。除历来见长的中国书画、文房清玩、金石篆刻等专场之外,油画专场更是首度取得极佳成绩:刘海粟的两件早年油画精品《巴黎圣心院》和《雪霁(卢森堡)》分别以907.2万元和884.8万元的高价成交,创下了刘海粟个人作品的最高纪录,再次印证了一直为西泠拍卖所推崇的传统经典艺术品的稳定价值。
