五四运动以来的青年运动,是在马克思列宁主义的影响和指导下,在中国共产党的领导下,逐步广泛深入地开展起来的,对中国近现代历史的发展起了巨大的促进作用。在抗日战争中,青年运动与全民抗战紧密相结合,以它的民族性、广泛性、群众性和波澜壮阔的规模,展现在近现代的历史舞台上,并带动千百万青年跟着中国共产党走上了争取国家独立和民族解放的道路。
