海峡台原来使用卫星传输两套立体声广播节目,采用美国康讯公司专用数字音频上星设备,租用东方卫星公司的“中卫一号”地球同步通讯卫星。租用带宽为1MHz。随着我台广播事业的发展,节目套数不断增加,如何在1MHz带宽内传输更多的广播节目套数,我们作了相关的理论分析和实验。取得了成功,并在实际工作中得到应用。 海峡台原来采用的音频卫星传输方案是国际上常用的标准,即:音频编码采用48kHz取样、16bit量化,ISO/MPEG Ⅱ层的压缩编码方式。作为卫星数字传输的惯用标准,我们在经过ISO/MPFG Ⅱ层方式压缩编码后选用256Kb/s的编码速率,前向纠错(FEC)为VIT1/2,QPSK调制方式。这样每套立体声节目所占用的带宽可以通过以下计算公式得出:
