本文根据近一、二十年来,国外在电火花加工领域中,应用光学金相、扫描电镜、X射线衍射分析、X射线应力分析、电子探针微区分析及位错浸蚀等先进测试手段,对电火花加工表层特性进行研究的成果,分电火花加工表面形态、电火花加工表层结构、电火花加工表层一般特性、白层的成分及组织、塑性变形及损伤、残余应力、工模具电火花加工及结构件电火花加工等八个方面作了概括介绍,并提出组织国内电加工、金属学、力学等各界人士大力协同迎头赶上的希望。
