The People’s Daily reported on the 1st that the State Council recently decided to conduct a one-off price reduction on the overstocked general consumer goods and materials in the wholesale enterprise stocks of the national state-owned commercial, supply and marketing cooperatives, foreign trade, and material resources departments. The sales of this price-reducing commodity amounted to about 4 billion yuan, and the price reduction was controlled within 20% on average. On the 3rd, the National Price Bureau and the State Council Organ Affairs Authority jointly formulated the “Trial Measures for the Price Administration of Central State-owned Hotels and Hotels and Guest Houses” and “Interim Provisions for the Grading of the Grades of the Central State-owned Hotels and Hotels and Guest Houses”, and printed and distributed the State Council’s various ministries and commissions.
