In 2011, the world textile industry witnessed steady growth with fiber usage reaching 82 million tons, up 2.4% over the same period last year. Except for the year when the financial crisis in 2008 made the slowest growth in fiber consumption in ten years, the growth rate in 2010 did not reach the growth rate of 2.7% in 2010 in the long run, nor in the short term since Average annual growth rate of 3.3% since 2000. The uncertainty of the world economy and the decrease in demand in most developed countries have led to a slow increase in the demand for textiles. As a result, in the second half of 2010, fiber exports from some major countries became increasingly tense.
