“狮峰云雾”茶产于安徽宣州市与宁国、泾县两县毗邻的山区,茶园分布在海拔500～1000m处,境内峰峦层叠,土壤肥沃,溪川环流,云雾缭绕。该茶于1985年研制成功,1988年6月获省名茶奖,1987年6月在省级名茶复评选优中再次中榜。1991年产量达25吨,产品主销苏皖各大城市。
