作为我国市场经济的推行者,吴敬琏近日在多个场合表示,开好“十二五”开局事关重大,关系到今后中国经济社会的发展。众所周知,进入21世纪后,吴老一直关注两个命题:一是如何建立一个公正法治的现代社会;二是中国经济增长模式的抉择。日前,本刊特约记者夜访了刚从外地返京的吴老,已是耄耋之年的吴老看上去精神矍铄。他强调,根据30年的经验,经济改革和政治改革能否顺利推进,关键在于政府自身。政府改革的任务,在于建设一个能够为市场机制提供支持的法治环境。
As the promoter of China’s market economy, Wu Jinglian said on several occasions recently that making a good start of the “12th Five-Year Plan” is of great importance and will affect the economic and social development of China in the future. As we all know, after entering the 21st century, Wu Lao has been paying attention to two propositions: First, how to establish a modern society with a fair rule of law; secondly, the choice of China’s economic growth model. Recently, our correspondent paid a night visit to Wu Lao, who just returned to Beijing from the field, and Wu Lao, who was already in his childhood, looked spiritually shy. He emphasized that according to 30 years of experience, whether the economic reform and political reform can be smoothly progressed, the key lies in the government itself. The task of government reform lies in building a rule of law environment that supports market mechanisms.
