严重急性呼吸道综合征(SARS)是一种新的传染病,它在世界各地不断流行、蔓延的趋势使SARS病原体的寻找成为世界医学界关注的焦点。目前研究表明,一种冠状病毒“家族”的新成员是本病真凶。本文总结了搜寻可能病原体的工作中所确定SARS病毒的特征及证据,并介绍了与病原体相关的组织病理学和血清学检测等方面的研究概况。
Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) is a new kind of infectious disease, which has been prevailing all over the world. The trend of spread makes the search of SARS pathogens become the focus of the medical world. The current study shows that a new member of the coronavirus “family” is the real source of the disease. This article summarizes the characteristics and evidence of the SARS virus identified during the search for possible pathogens and presents an overview of the pathogen-related histopathological and serological tests.
