格里森公司研究了新的切齿加工方法以代替磨齿工艺。本文所述用硬质合金刀具对淬硬后的齿轮进行精切,便是这类方法的一种。这种新工艺有许多优点,首先是可使齿轮质量保持稳定和均匀,此外还可使齿轮的噪声减低,变形得以矫正,提高承载能力,误差可得到补偿等。用硬质合金刀具对淬硬齿轮进行精切时,适宜的齿面硬度为HRC58~62。图1为一对淬硬齿轮精切后的表层部硬度分布情况。格里森切齿法对淬硬齿轮进行精切时,所用的机床系普通的格里森螺旋锥齿轮加工机床,刀具结构形式也与普通的相同。目前的600系列中各种通用展成切齿机都可采用,刀盘上的刀头则镶焊
Gleason has studied a new method of gear cutting instead of grinding. This article describes the use of carbide cutting hardened gear precision cutting, is one such method. The new process has many advantages. First, the quality of the gear can be kept stable and uniform. In addition, the noise of the gear can be reduced, the deformation can be corrected, the carrying capacity can be improved, and the error can be compensated.
