Only from the surface of the form, your cover binding can be said that a fashion, there are many new styles. From the origin of artistic conception, this fashion is also evolved from the costume out of close to the Art of War, surprisingly winning. If not understood from the derogatory, the phrase “crooked” may outline the style and way of thinking of your framed art. The relationship between crooked and positive is not absolute opposites, and your binding design embodies the dialectical relationship between the two parties. It seems to me that I have read the novella “Red Festival”, a novel written by the writer E Hua, who was touched by the encounters and personality traits of folk entertainers who sought the glaze of ceramics (sacrificial red). It is arguable that the frame you designed for your booklet is new. There seems to be a combination of two layers here. One is the fate of the protagonist of the novel I sympathize with. The one is the principle of the art of binding that I understand. I am most impressed with your first prize winning work
