Psycholinguistics studies the psychological processes in which people learn language and use language. From understanding to the final output, the law of language behavior is explored experimentally. English teaching focuses on how to absorb and understand the final English. Obviously both are concerned with language acquisition, understanding and output. Psycholinguistics connects the language learning process with other psychological theories to help teachers understand the nature of language learning, analyze the characteristics of students and textbooks, and then select appropriate teaching methods.
