新中国成立后,大连地区党员队伍和党的基层组织不断发展壮大,特别是十一届三中全会以来,大连市以改革创新精神全面加强党员队伍和党的基层组织建设。截至2010年底,全市党员总数为501613名,党的基层组织总数为29538个,其中基层党委1126个、总支部2547个、党支部25865个。今年是中国共产党成立90周年,也是大连市建立党组织85周年。大连市最早的党组织“中国共产党大连特别支部”组建于1926年1月15日,成立之初仅有1个支部,9名党员。1945年8月大连解放时有60余名党员。1949年
Since the founding of new China, the ranks of party members and the grassroots organizations of the party have continued to grow and develop in Dalian. Since the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee in particular, Dalian has comprehensively strengthened the building of the party members and the grassroots organizations of the party with the spirit of reform and innovation. By the end of 2010, the total number of party members in the city was 501,613, with a total number of grassroots organizations of 29,538, including 1126 grassroots party committees, 2,547 general branches and 25,865 party branches.
