新媒体是一种高度城市化的产物,它对城市空间造成了巨大的冲击。城市空间是城市文明的复合载体,又伴随着新媒体技术的飞速发展而不断演化。本文从两个角度研究新媒体与城市空间的交互耦合关系:一个是媒体进化的空间逻辑,另一个是空间重构的媒介逻辑。该文认为,城市空间的拓展生产了新媒体,新媒体的特性又重塑了城市空间,而新媒体与城市空间的互动耦合,使得空间要素的发展趋势与媒介领域的功能嬗变相互渗透,日益弥合着实在与虚拟之间的界限,衍化成让人目不暇接的城市空间中新媒体的创新实践。新媒体在城市公共服务、社会交往、历史传承等领域的创新性应用,将更新城市体系,完善城市传播体系,从而进一步提升城市竞争力。本文立足于城市的核心功能,探讨新媒体与城市空间的关系,揭示由此形成的新城市化体系的轮廓。
New media is a highly urbanized product that has had a huge impact on urban space. Urban space is the compound carrier of urban civilization, which is evolving along with the rapid development of new media technology. This paper studies the interaction coupling between new media and urban space from two aspects: one is the spatial logic of media evolution and the other is the media logic of spatial reconstruction. The paper argues that the expansion of urban space produces new media and the characteristics of new media reshape the urban space. The interactive coupling between new media and urban space makes the development of space elements interpenetrate with the transmutation of functions in the field of media. To bridge the gap between reality and virtual, into a dizzying city of new media innovation practice. Innovative application of new media in such fields as urban public service, social interaction and historical inheritance will update the urban system and improve the urban communication system so as to further enhance the competitiveness of the city. Based on the core functions of the city, this article explores the relationship between new media and urban space and reveals the outline of the new urbanization system.
