爸爸不经常下厨,下厨必做一道菜——鱼香茄子。我不明白,妈妈为什么那么喜欢,每次都要吃个底朝天。不过,爸爸做这道菜确实拿手。一整个茄子不切开,把它蒸过后在炭火上烤熟,直到茄子皮焦黄焦黄的,煞是好看。接着,把茄子切成很多小块,但刀不能切到底,要保持茄子整个的形状,再放在盘子里。最后,把事先调好的滚烫的汁浇到茄子上。一眼看过去,红红绿绿间好像卧着一条美丽的鱼。不但好看,而且好吃,入口松软,唇齿留香,真还有鱼肉的味道。
