社会语言学试图回答的问题是语言同社会间的关系,宏观层面为语言状况同社会之间的相互关系,微观层面为群体言语特征同社会环境之间的关系。社会语言学的辩题研究能够用来指导英语教学实践,从而为英语教学带来新的生机。本文简要介绍社会语言学同英语教学之间的关系,并重点论述起变体研究对英语教学的多维启示。
The problem that social linguistics attempts to answer is the relationship between language and society. The macro level is the relationship between language status and society. The micro level is the relationship between the characteristics of group speech and social environment. Sociolinguistic debate research can be used to guide the practice of English teaching, so as to bring new vitality to English teaching. This article briefly introduces the relationship between sociolinguistics and English teaching and focuses on the multidimensional enlightenment of the study of variation on English teaching.
