在当前新课程标准教学下以交际教学法为主导的大环境下,很多老师都认为传统教学法就是陈旧的,应该被时代的潮流所淘汰。这一现象使得语法教学常常在地下来开展,在公开课上,为了体现学生的主体地位,尽可能地让学生参与活动来交际,看起来一片轰轰烈烈的场面,没有人听课就开始语法。这种情况的出现,实际上是片面理解了新课程标准。因为最新的教学大纲的规定很明确,把英语作为外语来学,语法的介绍和学习都是十分重要的,语法知识的掌握最终是为了学生能正确地使用
