国际社会学研究方法研讨会1993年8月24—26日在天津召开。这次会议是在美国福特基金会资助和支持下,由美国杜克大学亚太研究所所长林南教授和中国社会学会副会长、天津社会学学会理事长、天津社会科学院院长王辉教授共同发起和组织的。会上有6名国外专家学者和12名中国专家学者结合个人的研究项目和特长,就社会学方法问题做了大会发言,其他与会代表做了自由发言,其主要方面有: 一、理论与方法之间的关系 这次讨论会是讨论社会学方法,但与社会学理论有密切的关系,方法以理论为基础、为前提,方法的运用亦可延伸理论思考,发展理论研究。 一些研究婚姻家庭的代表结合80年代以来我国有关家庭研究的热点指出,方法的选择以理论为基
Seminar on International Sociology Research Methods August 24-26, 1993 in Tianjin. The meeting was funded and supported by the Ford Foundation in the United States, by Du Lin University Asia Pacific Institute Professor Lin Nan and vice chairman of the Chinese Society of Sociology, Society of Tianjin, Tianjin Academy of Social Sciences Professor Wang Hui Co-sponsored and organized. At the meeting, six foreign experts and scholars and 12 Chinese experts and scholars combined personal research projects and specialties to make speeches on the sociological methods and made speeches on behalf of other participants.
