铁路对提高速度的要求已经很明显。除了纯电力牵引的高速列车外,以柴油机为动力的铁路车辆亦可实现高速化。提高速度的同时要求进一步提高旅行舒适度,因此,还必须提供足够的列车用电。结构紧凑、比重量低的优点,使高速柴油机成为既有高功率要求又有严格轴重限制的高速列车的理想动力源。针对高速列车的应用要求,对MTU高速柴油机作了大量包括改变内部设计的开发研究工作、文中介绍了发动机的电子式调速系统、排放标准及噪声降低等方面的最新发展,还介绍了MTU柴油机用于高速列车牵引和列车发电的典型实例,并报告了它们在世界铁路中的运用经验。
The demand of the railway for speeding up is already obvious. In addition to pure electric traction high-speed trains, diesel-powered rail vehicles can also achieve high speed. While increasing speed requires further improvements in travel comfort, enough train power must be provided. The advantages of compact structure and low specific weight make the high-speed diesel engine an ideal power source for high-speed trains that have both high power requirements and strict shaft weights. According to the application requirements of high-speed trains, a great deal of development and research work has been done on MTU high-speed diesel engine, including the change of internal design. The paper introduces the latest development of engine electronic speed regulation system, emission standards and noise reduction.
