河西地区的冬小麦,解放前只有零星种植,解放后种植面积逐步扩大,已成为河西地区主要栽培作物之一。但是,随着农业生产的进一步发展,原有的栽培品种及栽培技术已不适应飞速发展的社会主义大农业的需要,冬小麦生产中也出现了越冬死亡、产量不如春麦等问题,从而限制了冬小麦生产的进一步发展和提高。为了尽快弄清这些问题的实质及原因,提出相应的栽培技术措施,进一步发挥冬小麦的增产作用,一九-匕六年,我们分赴河西三地区,进行了一些调查研究。 河西走廊的川区地带,自然条件对冬麦较有利,—般冬小麦比春小麦早熟,可以避
