抗日战争时期,在华北平原上,活跃着一支令日本侵略者闻风丧胆的回民支队,毛泽东称其为“百战百胜的回民支队”。而我的爷爷周志坚,当年曾是这支部队的营教导员,他在赫赫有名的马本斋队长率领下参加作战,被人称为“周大胡子”。上世纪四十年代,马本斋任命我爷爷担任冀鲁边军分区“回民大队”大队长……本文所要讲述的,便是我爷爷那具有传奇色彩的戎马故事……
During the War of Resistance Against Japan, there was an active Muslim detachment on the North China Plain that made the Japanese invaders fearless. Mao Tse-tung called it a “victorious Muslim detachment.” And my grandfather Zhou Zhijian, who had served as battalion battalion instructor, was led by the well-known captain Ma Benzhai and was called “Zhou Beard.” In the forties of the last century, Ma Benzhai appointed my grandfather to be the commander of the Hebei-LJ border army and the “captain of the Hui People’s Brigade.” The story to be covered in this article is the story of my grandfather’s legendary military commander.
