随着玉器市场的持续升温,墨玉的价值凸现。特别是优质墨玉,已成为玉器爱好者和收藏家的收藏热点。 由于墨玉资源稀少,目前市场上出现了一些被称为“坑瓦石”的仿冒品。何谓“坑瓦石”?由于很少有人研究,即使在业内业也鲜为人知。为了探索“坑瓦石”的秘密,最近向朋友索取了两件样品。其中之一为已加工成罗汉摆件的边角料另一件为椭圆形的偏平鹅卵石。两件样品均磨制成薄片,然后置于偏光显微镜下进行岩相学研究。现将结果报道于后,期望对业内人士和玉器爱好者有所裨益。 一件样品肉眼观察为墨黑色,质地致密细腻,摩氏硬度5.5度左右,相对密度2.74g/cm~3,用点测法测得折射率为1.57左右。从成品来看,其适雕性及抛光性良好。在偏光显微镜下为叶片变晶结构和交代残留结构。主要矿物为蛇纹石次要矿物为透闪石,碳质和方解石。透闪石呈被蛇纹石交代的残留体。应为含碳质蛇纹岩。
