昆仑一号青稞是青海省农林科学院1969年用民和白六棱作母本与藏青稞杂交,以其第一代作母本又与河北沧县裸大麦杂交育成。1977年山南地区农科所从青海引入、通过两年小区试验,丰产性能突出。1979年参加我所的品种比较试验,亩产862.5斤,比对照藏青336增产53.3%,1980年提交自治区全区品种区域试验,同年在所内进行播种期试验和1.5亩的丰产栽培试验。后者亩产达901.3斤.比藏青336亩增产46.2%,1981年
