采用压实计控制堆石坝的碾压质量,可以实时地、连续地对整个碾压作业面进行碾压质量控制。它克服了挖坑取样、静态弹性模量、动态弹性模量和沉降测量等传统方法的事后选点测量的缺点,在碾压过程中迅速、准确地指示出堆石体的压实情泥,保证了施工质量,加快了施工进度。水利水电科学研究院仪器研究所研制成功YS-1型压实计,并在4个大坝工程施工现场,安装在多种振动碾上,对不同级配的多种坝料进行控制碾压质量试验,均获得令人满意的结果。
